Set in the sunny countryside outside of Madrid amid the country’s economic downturn and social unrest in May 2011, scenes of protest parallel her precarious life situation and the rising tension between her and her boyfriend. When their dog disappears, everything comes to a head, and she must decide to rise up or stay complacent while the world around her takes action. Filmed in Spain and funded by Canada Council for the Arts, this is a private screener with timecode for portfolio purposes only.
